The Write a book Project has been running from Blackrock Education Centre since 1985. The Write a book Project enables primary school children to become real authors as they create their own books by actively engaging in the processes of writing, composing, constructing, designing, illustrating and presenting their work to a wide audience. In 2019 a number of primary schools from the catchment area of Blackrock Education Centre entered a total of 4,861 books in the Project, from Junior Infants to 6 th classes.
